July 3rd Ride

Here’s the ride plan for Saturday. We are are taking a Short ride to accommodate the band members and their need to practice. We will be riding from Cedar Park to Marble Falls, catching a late Breakfast/Early Lunch, and then returning. Meeting place is the Exxon Tigermart at 1000 North Bell Blvd in Cedar Park (SW Corner of 183 and 1431) at 9AM. Kickstands up will be no later than 9:30. We’ll ride out 1431 to Marble Falls and grab a bite. The return route will be up 281 to 29, East to 183, and then south back into Cedar park. Counting an hour for a meal, we are looking at about a 3 hour outing. If someone knows how to embed the maps, go ahead and add them (don’t have time to figure it out right now…)

Meet:9 AM-Exxon (Cedar Park)

Kickstands up: 9:30 AM

Route: Exxon–>1431–>Marble Falls–>281–>29–>183–>Exxon

Finish: ~1PM

Trip #5 Coopers

Time to ride again guys. Meet this Sat. at Rudys 183, near Duval. Kick stands up at 9:00. The plan is to head out to Cedar Park, Bertram, near Lampass, towards Colorado Bend State Park. Then to Llano, with a pit stop at Coopers BBQ. From there we will find our way back to Austin. Estimated 250 mils and 5 hours.

Ride for Brady

Hey guys. Brady is asking us to ride! What a cool preacher. Rockpoint community chruch in Leander puts on a motorcycle/car show for their fathers day service. Brady ask us to go out this year and see if it something we thought would be good for Crossroads. So free up June 20 and fine someone to fill in for set up or the band if you need to.

Brian has put together another trip for us.

When: 9:30 am Saturday March 20, 2010

Where: We will meet at the southeast corner of IH35 and Hwy 79 in Round Rock at the quix mart, so that we can all fuel up before we start.

79 east to 1660 in Hutto
right on 1660(south) to 95
right on 95(south) to 1466
left on 1466(east) to 619
right on 619 to 696, it may not look like it on the map, but this intersection does exist
left on 696 to Lexington

We can return in the reverse order or another way. these roads are pretty fun.

Might take 1.5-2 hours one way.

Access to barbecue for lunch.

For anyone interested, I will be at McDonalds at the southwest corner of 620 and IH 35 around 8:45 until 9:15 or so for breakfast. Looking forward to the ride!

Trip #2 Wimberley Again

When: We will meet at 9:00 AM on Saturday October 10th

Where: We will meet at the Valero gas station on the corner of Little Elm rd and FM 620. (12202 N FM 620, Austin, TX), From there we will ride out to Wimberley, TX.

Trip #1 First Ride Scheduled

Hey All!

Our first ride is now scheduled.

When: We will meet at 9:00 AM on Saturday September 19th

Where: We will meet at the Valero gas station on the corner of Little Elm rd and FM 620. (12202 N FM 620, Austin, TX), From there we will ride out to Wimberley, TX.

We may return a different way, depending on how everyone is feeling.

The ride to Wimberley was a success. Brian H, and Andy H made it out for the ride. There were nice roads, and traffic was light. Here is a picture of our bikes at the gas station in Wimberley.

I met up with Jeremy H after the ride. He was just finishing up getting his bike ready to ride. We cruised around for about an hour up through Cedar Park and Leander.
